I've sum symptoms related to cancer like joint pain, tiredness, fatigue, infections, swollen lymph nodes, weight gain. But my blood report is normal?

Symptoms of cancer: Your sx not necessarily related to cancer.Joint pain, fatigue, nodes can be infection. When you have CA you are not really prone to infections until you start treatment. Most pts with CA will actually loose weight, not gain. Blood work will not find CA for most kinds of CA. Have your doc look at all your sx and check your nodes. If seems suspicious on exam a biopsy would be the next step. Keep me informed ...Read more

I have a cortisol level of 0.8. Can that cause weight gain, extreme fatigue, joint pain. Low bp, heart palpitations? What should I do?

I have a cortisol level of 0.8. Can that cause weight gain, extreme fatigue, joint pain. Low bp, heart palpitations? What should I do?

Complicated: Normal 8 am cortisol is 8-23 micrograms per deciliter. Since you don't use units, it's not clear if you're normal or not. Moreover, even if it's low as I think you're hinting, your Symbicort (budesonide and formoterol) may have suppressed it. A cortrosyn stimulation test is needed. Finally, low cortisol could cause fatigue and low BP, but not the other symptoms. Clearly, you need to stay under your doctor's care! ...Read more

What are these symptoms a cause of? Fatigue, trouble sleeping, being cold, slow digestion, headaches, bronchial/sinus infections, long term depression/anxiety, fuzzy thinking, short term memory loss, weight gain, muscle/joint pain

Many possibilities: Dr. Jackson is correct: these may be not at all related, but clusters of symptoms from several etiologic origins. I think that depression could very reasonably be associated with a good deal of your symptomatology, with the overlaying onset of an upper respiratory infection. Firstly a thorough assessment by your pcp is in order, then consultation with a therapist to address long term depression. ...Read more

Why diabetes, b.p. and weight gain comes for ladiex after removal of uterus. Knee and joint pain also comes after that. Suggest to avoid these..

Not necessary linked: Obesity, Diabetes and high blood pressure are very frequent conditions and yes for example obesity can lead to diabetes or diabetic patients can have more weight gain BUT not linked to uterus removal. Also knee pains are very frequent due to overweight/obesity because knees are weight bearing joints. Lose weight and you may reduce your pains and improve your diabetes as well. ...Read more

What conditions may cause backpain, shoulder pain, ankle pain, joint pain along with weight gain, an elevated ALT (75 U/L), and ANA positive once.

Arthritis possible: The multiple areas of joint pain are concerning for arthritic conditions such as rheumatoid. Infections of many sorts can also cause widespread joint pain. Donated blood said hlab27 antigen positive PCP had blood drawn hlab27 negative. Joint pain everywhere. Weight gain headaches weakness tingling hands?

Cannot be: HLA- B27 is always positive or negative. It does not change. One of the tests was wrong. Also, HLA-B27 is useless as a screening test. The symptoms need to be worked up (eg., the joint pain) and then, only the proper tests should be done depending on the symptoms. Diseases such Lyme disease or lupus cannot be checked for with labs. A history & physical are the first steps. ...Read more

I had my IUI on 26 Feb 2017 From sterday I do feel lot of tiredness and leg joint pain - symptoms of period. It is very much hopeless. Expected Period?

Patience: A urine pregnancy test gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex or insemination, or 1 week after missing a period. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real but a negative result may be due to testing too soon, and thus lead to a repeat test. After IUI, one can forget about sperm, eggs, or babies, and just enjoy everything else in life for the next 3 weeks... and then do a pregnancy test. ...Read more
