Depends RE plan B: AKA postinor. Depends on where a woman is in her cycle and how long after unprotected sex/contraceptive failure before she took the medicine. Nausea most common: 2 weeks after ivf would make you 4 weeks pregnant. So nausea is the most common symptom. In general you should not feel anything still from the ivf with 2 exceptions. Do HPT ...: Take advantage of high accuracy of HPT. So, do HPT in 7-10 days after missing period & repeat it in another 7-10 days if the first HPT is (-) & still in doubt. Besides, it is useful to know ovulation occurs 2 wks before period regardless of personal duration of menstrual cycle. Best wish... ...Read more
Ivf beta hCG numbers 1st 9 days post 5 day transfer 67, 4 days later 78, 2 days later 80 and 2 days later 165. Definite chemical pregnancy or ectopic?
Can't say yet: We can't diagnose your pregnancy over the internet. 67 is an ok first beta, but it should rise by at least 50% every 48 hours. There is a slim chance that this could be a normal pregnancy, but more likely a biochemical pregnancy (hcg levels go up then down, never get high enough to see pregnancy on ultrasound), a miscarriage, or an ectopic. If severe pain/bleeding go to er. Your md will follow you. ...Read more

Periods: If I understand correctly you tubes are tied and you experienced menstrual bleeding 4 days earlier than usual along with nausea and lightheadedness. A few days of cycle variation is very normal and not generally a cause for concern. Track your cycles over the next few months and see an Obgyn if not satisfied. After taking postinor period was delayed by 2 weeks.had 2 days of regular flow...and 3 and 4 was low flow.any chance implantation bleeding ??
A person can't tell: Wait. A positive pregnancy test can tell a woman that PRIOR spotting was actually implantation spotting. It can be hard to tell if a woman is pregnant because some of the symptoms seen in early pregnancy can also happen in non-pregnant women. A urine pregnancy test gives a reliable result about 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have occurred). ...Read more

Take a test: Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctors office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period. If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection. ...Read more
