Sounds fungal: Would need more background information as there are several potential causes for rash such as this. However, ruling out fungal infection is at top of list. Coconut oil has good antimicrobial properties and may have helped calm an inflammatory reaction to the infection, but does not seem to have completed the task. Possible: Possibly heat rash. Also may be fungal or even an allergic reaction or sensitivity to your underwear. Consider chaffing gel, and cotton only underwear or boxers.
