Possible autoimmune: On and off swelling of joints is suggestive of an underlying infectious process or autoimmune process like rheumatoid arthritis. Swollen joints: If one joint was swollen, i would be more likely to recommend er evaluation to rule out septic arthritis; a bad infection that attacks a joint. In your case, you are having pain in multiple joints all over the body. This is more likely indicating a systemic type of arthritis. Compression of nerve: which will hopefully be temporary. The usual position for a person installing flooring is to support your weight on your extended wrists. This compresses/stretches the nerves as they travel in your wrist to your hand. What you describe is serious, though. You have a : Few issues here. You need to be careful the swelling below the knee is not in the calf region as a clot is a serious problem. The wrist pain i would see an orthopedist for who can comment on your other issues as well. Not sure if that.
