Don't worry: if it is not warm, tender or painful, it is probably of no concern . Are you sure it is a vein? Sometimes a ganglion cyst can push up from behind and make the vein more prominent. If it bothers you, you should have it examined but it is probably nothing to worry about. ...Read more
