I'm in this same situation and my sons birthday party is today and I look awful with this swollen upper lip. What can I take to help with the swelling?
Benadryl: Benadryl can help reduced the Serling but it has the side effect of making you sleepy. You can try Claritin or Zyrtec. Adding Zantac,( a medicine which is also an antihistamine but mostly used for gastritis or reflux,), may help as well. Probably Allergy: Take some allergy pill like Claritin/Zyrtec or Benadryl and see if it helps with the lip swelling. Check your temp to make sure you dont have fever. If you have any other symptom like sore throat or feel any bumps in mouth or tongue, a quick trip to the local urgent care clinic like Wallgreens or CVS would be a good idea to get it checked out.
