Hi my front bottom tooth has become painful over past 4 days and now is excruciating and raised up, also I am very swollen under my tongue and painful?

Not likely: A salivary gland infection is not very common and and it is also not very contagious. You may have blocked salivary gland which will make it swollen and painful. If it is not a salivary gland that is swollen but rather a lymph node, your mouth/oral/ respiratory infection is more contagious . ...Read more

Rest it: Your frenum scpaped against your lower and possibly sharp edged teeth while sticking your tongue out. Warm salt water rinses and not sticking it out until it heals is all you can do. If this continues to be a problem, you can see the Oral Surgeon to do a frenectomy which will release this muscle and allow more movement outward before hitting the teeth.
