Multiple things: Ask your doctor if you may have raynaud's phenomenon, which turns fingers and toes blue. Also your doctor can check for arthritis and carpal tunnel syndrome, or other causes. A rheumatologist would be helpful; rheumatologists diagnose and treat autoimmune diseases, arthritis and musculoskeletal conditions like what you are describing. Read more

Infected finger: This sounds ominous. See your GP, the finger needs to be cleaned; you may need an xray and antibiotics, if you have a wound and a fracture we call this an open fracture and this has to be treated proactively to prevent infection to the bone and joint not only to the surrounding tissues Read more

In the meantime you can take advil (ibuprofen) or Ibuprofen for the pain and inflammation. Good luck. Read more

Hard to say but...: This is impossible to know for sure but from your description it sounds like there is a good chance it is broken and/or dislocated. I advise you go to an urgent care clinic tomorrow to get an x-ray. In the meantime, you can apply ice and elevate it ; take Aspirin or Ibuprofen for pain. If available, you can also take homeopathic arnica which can help with pain, bruising and swelling. Read more
