Watch and wait: If the pain and warmth are subsiding, you may wait it out and let it rest and heal. If it is not better in a week or gets worse, see a doctor.

Not convinced: MRI of whatever doesn't usually see kidney stones unless large. If MRI was for muscles or hernia ok. CT for kidney stones. Also the CT would help evaluate the kidney for trauma. See a doctor sooner than later ...Read more
