Recheck with doctor: You'll need to ask the doctor or clinic treating you. You're close to the age (35) after which most epididymitis is not an STD. However, most of those have positive UTI tests. I have to wonder if you had something other than epididymitis (prostate problem?), and lack of clear response to doxycycline suggests something other than bacterial infection.
