My grand mother aged73 just observed swollen temples can you justify the reason she has ovarien cancer?
Have connective tissue disease.W/ flares get brain fog, easily confused, head feels swollen. Temples are really tender at times. Head stings at times?
On prednisone for past 3 weeks for sinuses. Past 2 days my tongue has been swollen and temples sore ( to touch and bite down). Is something major wrg?

Don't know: You should have it looked at. You can get a swelling of the blood vessels of the temple with any strenuous activity but it should go away. If this has lasted 2 weeks it really should be looked at by a physician. ...Read more
Uh oh!: If the bite is now spreading and the swelling has increased, if taking Benadryl (diphenhydramine) doesn't help significantly, you may have an infection in the skin, called cellulitis. This is very serious when it's in the head, face or neck. It it responds to the Benadryl (diphenhydramine), it is likely just a local reaction to the bite and is not as big a deal. Comgestion: It seems you have seen your primary doctor initially for suggestions . There are other nasal steroids that might help besides nasonex, (mometasone) but sometimes combinations of rx like nasal decongestant sprays, oral decongestants, nasal steroids, mucolytics like guaifenesin, ; oral steroids are necessary to alleviate sinus and eustachian tube congestion.
