It could be: Any of the three you mentioned but most likely folliculitis. The gland at the root of the hair is clogged and is not able to express the secretion and swell up and get infected. Sorry to hear you are feeling poorly. Sounds like you had an abscess drained and possibly your doctors packed the wound to allow it to continue to drain? Some pain is normal after this procedure but is your pain getting worse? Are you doing the dressing changes? Is it still draining pus? If your swelling is going down quickly great; if not then you have to get a new antibiotic and get the lymph node incised and drained if possible by a breast surgeon or gynecologist. ...Read more

Stop Keflex: No possibility of any benefit from any antibiotic, only risks of bad effects. Probably no need to treat. See a dermatologist if it annoys you. If it grows larger it needs to be checked: suggest a different place. Usually this will be a small cyst in the acne family.
