See MD: If you are still having pain, I suggest an ER visit now. You may need to have an MRI or CT to see what is causing these issues. I do not want to speculate on cause, I think best is to be seen to establish diagnosis and treatment if needed. Good luck. ...Read more

Swollen lymph nodes, sore neck, splitting headache-worsened moving neck, midgrade fever, sore throat, vomiting, night sweats, chills?

We in internetville cannot do the diagnostics. I hope it's nothing serious, but I've seen conditions present like that, that ARE serious. An in-person physician is what you need with real in-person blood tests, and who knows what else for diagnostics. ...Read more

My friend had a fever, headache, sore throat and he has swollen lymph nodes in neck, what is the cause and how to cure him?

Streph Throat test: Please encourage your friend to see the doctor for a streph throat test. He could have mononucleosis, streph throat or a viral infection. Tx depends on the cause. Consider tylenol or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications. Saltwater gargles: mix 1 tsp salt in 8 oz warm water – gargle several times a day. Or gargle with aloe vera juice twice a day. ...Read more

Cause of swollen lymph nodes in neck and low-grade fever at night for 1 month? Started with sore throat, completed antibiotic regimen 1 week ago

Possible mononucleos: Swollen lymph nodes, especially if there is some tenderness and some degree of associated temperatures points to infection. On rare occasions TB from unpasteurized milk can cause the problem. At other times infectious mononucleosis can result in the problem. If nodes do not regress and symptoms persist a biopsy should be performed. ...Read more

Sneezing, itchy eyes. I wake up with a sore throat, I have swollen lymph nodes in neck for awhile. What could be the cause? Allergies

Monitoring Centers: Lymphatic system absorbs/carries things too big to go into the arteries/veins like bacteria eaten by white cells and digested food. Lymph nodes "taste" the lymph for anything bad like bacteria/viruses/cancers, etc. When it detects a problem, it alerts the immune system and your body reacts. They enlarge in response to the inflammation they create when they react. They shrink when all is well. ...Read more
