Left big toe tendon has lumps bumps and swelling along it and big toe is painful . Throbbing pain in big toe too?
I would: See a foot doctor. The question is are the lumps or bumps really on the tendon or in the subcutaneous tissues.....either way you should be examined, much easier to make a diagnosis like that in person... Possible ganglionic cyst is an example without seeing you but if I saw your foot inperson I would know right away if that's what you had. ...Read more

Left hand middle finger tight with stiffness. Can't bend it. Swollen @ the joint & palm. No pain, just uncomfortable.
No injury?: Assuming you haven't injured that finger somehow (sometimes it is hard to remember...might have seemed like nothing at the time)... I'm thinking things that aren't exactly "serious", but that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt! Possibly tendinitis in that finger, or a bit of arthritis in the joint. Try using an ice pack, and reducing movement, maybe w/ a splint. If it continues, I would get an x-ray. ...Read more
Location of pain: Would be helpful. Often, if on the outside it is caused by a hammertoe, which will leave you with a corn or little area of inflammation known as a bursitis. If on the inside, you can have a soft corn caused by the 5th toe rubbing against the 4th. If you banged it in the middle of the night going to the bathroom you may have fractured it. A foot doc can help no matter the cause. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
Hammer Time.: Hammer toes can certainly be painful at times and along with pain, they can be swollen. Hammer toes can be of flexible or rigid variety. Either way, when higher that normal pressure is being applied to the toe, it will react. The reaction is pain, swelling, redness and often callous formation. In extreme cases, the toe can ulcerate and start an infection process. Best to have it examined. ...Read more
Ulnar neuropathy: You have likely heard of carpal tunnel syndrome. This is a compression and irritation of the median nerve in the wrist. Ulnar tunnel syndrome, which it sounds like you may have, is a compression of the ulnar nerve in elbow. This nerve supplies the ring finger and pinky fingers. If it is compressed and irritated it can produce tingling and pain in those fingers. It is more common in pregnancy. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

18 days, my big left toe hurts. swelling on ball, toe hurts to lift and bend down.3 day bruising around joint.Arch hurts. needle pain on end big toe.
Oh Boy, Not Fun.: Since you did not mention that your suffered an injury to the toe, there must be something else going on. You paint a very convincing picture of a mildly acute gout attack. The inflamed big toe joint is not so much red as it is more of a darker plum color. It will hurt to move in any direction and the swelling is sometimes pronounced. This is diagnosed clinically so you need to see a doctor. ...Read more

Pain at the base of pinky toe. pain was very sudden. Cannot put any pressure on it.I have been walking a lot more than normal. What could it be?
Pain: There is a joint at the base of your pinky toe. The joint my be swollen or inflammed. I would wear loose fitting shoes, apply ice twice a day for 10-15 minutes and take some OTC medicine like Advil (ibuprofen) or Motrin. If still painful after 10-14 days seek a specialist. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

My pinky toes have become tender to the touch and appears swollen out of no where especially my right pinky toe?
Check your shoe size: Make sure that your shoes are not causing this swelling from not being wide enough for your foot? At the end of the day this can be more pronounced than when you get up, and are walking around barefoot. If it has been a chronic problem, you need to see your PCP or your podiatrist to have this evaluated further. Since it's bilateral (both feet), it will be easier to treat together & may be simple. ...Read moreSee 3 more doctor answers

SSo stubbed my pinky toe and it only hurt for like 10 mins. When i got home from work an hr later. It hurts bad and turned like a black color why did it do this. Is it possibly broken? It also hurts to walk on and is swollen
Goll Darn-it.: Swelling, pain and bruising are certainly classic signs of sizable trauma to the toe. Immediate care should include elevating the foot, applying ice to the toe and staying off of it as much as possible. The question of a fracture can be answered soon enough, the main thing now is to minimize swelling and pain. Stabilizing the toe by splinting it to the adjacent one will help. An x-ray will find FX ...Read more
Prob broken: Sounds like you may have broken your toe. It's a good idea to get x-Rays done to see the extent of the damage. GENTLY tape your pinky toe to your 4th toe and wear protective footwear, but nothing that's going to put pressure on it. ...Read more
Wart or callous?: Hard to say based on your description. Strange for a kid to get a single callous on pinky toe, although I suppose it is possible. It is more likely a type of wart, for which an OTC salycilic acid preparation may be used. Neither callouses nor warts "swell." They do grow in size; but if there's swelling or redness, that is inflammation, possibly related to infection, which should be evaluated. ...Read more
Outer pinky toe is very red and a bit swollen, possible corn? Very sensitive to touch so if it is a corn i can't file it down. Suggestions?
I stubbed my pinky toe 3 days ago and its still very painful today. Swollen, red, cant move it, cant touch it. What could be the matter with my toe?
It could be: fractured or infected. If there was even the slightest break in the skin, it's possible that bacteria on the surface of the skin is now causing an infection called cellulitis. It also possible that you fractured your toe. Infection is more likely if the redness continues to spread and streak up your toe/foot and is warm to touch compared to surrounding skin. You should be seen by a Dr. ...Read more
