Bunionectomy with 2 surgical screws placed. I'm 5wk post op. Still very swollen/sore & stiffness in big toe joint area. Is this normal at this point?
Healing: The healing process for most surgical wounds is 6-8 weeks. The inside part is usually around the same, but obviously variable. I would suggest calling your surgeon to find out for your case.
