Mltpl deep, hard lumps in calf muscles w/out skin involvement/swollen lymph nodes neck/armpits & weight loss. Venous u/s, chest xray, thyroid & mono-neg.Mild anemia-low monocytes. Any ideas?

See your doctor...: I am not sure why you are having symptoms, but be evaluated by a doctor very soon. These symptoms could be signs of a urinary infection or possibly even a more serious systemic infection such as a blood infection (sepsis) which can be fatal if not treated. Likely benign: The lymph node is most likely benign, however it is very important that you discuss it with your treating Haematologist since your child has Fanconi's anemia. My daughter has a swollen lymphnode on her neck for almost 6 mths.... It is soft and easily moveable, last CBC slight anemia . Could it be lymphoma?
Lymph node: Doubtful. There would be other signs besides the lymph node becoming bigger, like weight loss, night sweats, etc. The CBC would also show issues with the WBC and platelet count besides anemia. The location of the node also plays a major role if its more serious. I sometimes wake up at night and my hands and fingers are swollen .. I am not in any medication other than iron and the only condition i am currently diagnosed with is anemia?
Need further eval: Anemia can make you have sot tissue swelling but not likely just hands and fingers. Questions: are you always swollen or does it come and go? Same on both sides? Tenderness in joints? Redness, rash, fever, other joint problems? How anemic? Why are you anemic? Has iron deficiency been proven? I recommend a complete history and physical exam, and blood tests.
