Lymph nodes: Swollen lymph nodes are common and usually will swell secondary to some type of infection or allergy. I expect your problem should be short lived. However some lymph nodes will swell and remain palpable. This is usually not a concern. However, if they become big or spongy that can be a sine of lymphoma. Get checked! ...Read more

Rare complication: One of the complications of laser removal is formation of lymph node reaction to pigments-granulomaas,often close to tattoo sites. If these are away from sites, please check with your dermatologist or pMD because biopsy may be required. More info: So you actually feel a lump - is that correct? How long has it been there? Days/weeks? Do you have fevers/chills/weight loss? If there is no palpable lump; " intermittent pulling sensation " can be due to many other causes - so have you done any heavy lifting/exercise recently?
