Go see an ENT doctor: It could be just repeated viral infections(colds) but you need to be sure that you do not have strept throat. A visit to your ENT doctor can help. If you want to try controlling it on your own, i wiould sugges that you try taking vitamin c, 500mg daily and give it a 6 month trial(it is pretty cheap vitamin). This may help, in which case you should continue taking it on a regular basis. ...Read more

Swollen glands: Are these glands sore, any fever or sore throat, any other swollen glands in other locations? Was a throat culture done? Any skin or eye changes? There are so many causes for enlarged lymph nodes, CBC alone does not give enough information, what was the platelet count?. If these glands persisted you should take your son back to his pediatrician for follow up & additional workup. Good luck ...Read more

She/he will plan accordingly ...Read more
