Swollen Lymph Glands In The Armpits Groin Or Neck
Yes and maybe...: Gingivitis will start a response in your immune system that would potentially involve lymph nodes in your neck. Oral infection does not however directly recruit lymph nodes in the groin area. While it's possible you have a systemic condition that is affecting both areas, it may be multiple problems at the same time. Brush & floss daily; see your dentist & your physician. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

Hi! My daughter (8 yrs) just woke up complaining of pain in both armpits. I immediately think of swollen lymph glands. Any ideas?
Agree with you: I think you may be right on track! Many viral infections, especially, can cause lymph nodes to swell, and the armpit nodes are commonly painful. I would check to see if she has a fever at all, and look for any other signs of viral infection (sudden fatigue, sinus drainage, runny nose, dark circles under eyes, etc.). Also gently check the neck for large nodes. Fluids, vitamin C, l-lysine, and REST. ...Read more

Monitoring Centers: The lymphatic system absorbs and carries things too big to go into the arteries and veins like bacteria eaten by white cells and digested food. The lymph nodes "taste" the lymph to see if anything bad is there like bacteria, viruses, cancers, etc. When it detects a problem, it alerts the immune system and your body reacts. They enlarge in response to the inflammation they create when they react. ...Read more

I'm 17, and a few days ago saw/felt a swollen lymph node in my neck. Today i realized that my armpit and groin had swollen lymph noded as well.
Possibly viral: if you have other symptoms such as fever , aches, malaise. Check with a private doctor to have definitive tests, especially if you noted enlarged nodes suddendly without any associated pain, tenderness or apparent illness. The cause need to be known because most causes are treatable. In your age, mononucleosis is prime suspect but you need to be seen. ...Read more

Swollen lymph nodes in groin armpit and neck allare under a CM in diameter. Also all have been examined by doctor they are very movable.Should i worry?
No, don't worry!: Lymph nodes are present in everyone, and they are normally under one centimeter in size and moveable. In young people like you, they are often more easily felt. This can be because you're thinner, and because your immune system is more active. So don't worry! the picture shows lymph vessels and lymph nodes in green. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
Actual number?: It depends on how low the lymph is and how high the eos count is. A viral infection can cause low lymph whereas allergic reactions can cause high eos. This figure may also be a reflection of the total WBC. For example , if the WBC is 20% below average, then a 20% rise in eos may well be normal. You need to see your doctor about this condition. ...Read more
