Fix tooth: Antibiotics alone will not solve your problem. If you indeed have a dental abscess that is large enough to cause a swollen lip you may need to have it drained in addition to antibiotics. Then you must fix or extract the tooth causing the problem because if you don't it will return and antibiotics will be less effective the second time around.
