Sharp pain in my left shoulder blade. Neck pain radiates behind my ear. Shoulder pain and soreness. And little arm soreness as well. Pinched nerve?
Discuss with MD: You have a lot going on for your age, please discuss this with your doctor, you may warrant some further testing. This is not a good forum for this question as we can not diagnose "pinched nerve" without examination and testing. Your doctor may order a nerve conduction test coupled with an emg, or an MRI if they have not done so already. Discuss with your doctor. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Reproduction of the pain and numbness while bending your neck to the affected side is called a positive "spurling's sign". Your shoulder blade pain is also characteristic of this. Dry mouth, lips, throat. Knee/shoulder pain. Negative Ro/SS-A, La/SS-B and ANA and Rosa bengal test. Normal US parotid gland. Can still be Sjogren?
Yes: Stop the phenylbutazone as this can cause an aplastic anemia. Make sure your thyroid function tests are normal as well. That said, you can treat the dry eyes with meds suck as Salagen or Evoxac (cevimeline) and see if they help. Dry mouth alone makes Sjogrens unlikely but still possible, even with negative blood tests. In this situation, a lip biopsy can be helpful. ...Read more

Can acute sinusitis cause extreme left neck gland swelling, right is also swollen but not as severe. Sinusitis is unresponsive so far to 2weeks amox.
Reevaluation: I would get that checked out. It sounds like what you may have may be resistant to amoxicillin, or you may have something else going on. The swelling may just be swollen lymph nodes, but if it is still ongoing after 2 weeks of antibiotics, you should be examined. Good luck! ...Read more

I've been having this pain in the back of my head closer to my neck, it causes a headache, some dizziness and today it made my left arm/shoulder pain?
Could be a: simple trapezius muscle spasm from over stretching or a problem with the disks or joints in the neck. You're 28, the trapezius spasm/strain is more likely. If the pain doesn't go away in a few days, see your doctor. ...Read more
Weird feeling in the back of head after throbbing. Now have slight throb in the left temple. Neck and shoulder pain too.
C-spine disease: This sounds more like a cervical radiculopathy type of pain with a resultant tension type of headache and radiation of the nerve to the shoulders. Hives: The cause for hives is often obscure unless one can specifically identify the trigger (food , drug, viral infection). In chronic hives, about 30% is considered an autoimmune process.
