Swollen Intestines And Stomach
Hello. : Hello. I can't diagnose your symptoms. However, the esophagus is the tube that connects the mouth to the stomach. The delicate tissue of the esophagus can be inflammed or irritated if gastric acids refluxes into the esophagus from the stomach. Drinking lots of alcohol is one possible cause of esophageal inflammation. If a person is overweight or they have a loose sphincter muscle which closes off the top of the stomach, this could be causes for gastric acid to reflux into the esophagus. The stomach could be inflammed from bacteria, a virus, alcohol, stress - lots of reasons. Runny bowel movements could be from gastroenteritis, food being propelled too rapidly through the colon. Without an evaluation, the doctors in this forum can provide generalized information but not a lot more. If your doctor diagnosed you with an inflammed esophagus and stomach, ask more info about it. If you need to, write down all your questions first. Take care. ...Read more

Painful lower back going to stomach feels like my spine is pressing against my intestines stomach very bloated daily bowel movement ?
Have had dull painful stomach, gas, belching and stomach rumbling on and off for 3 weeks. Pain moves around from ribs to bottom of stomach.
See below: Belching is the act of expelling air from the stomach through the mouth. It usually occurs when the stomach distends, or expands because of too much swallowed air. Belching releases the air to reduce the distention. You can also have a gas buildup in the stomach from bacteria working on food, which give up for gas. Anxiety can cause just about any physical symptom but it would be uncommon for anxiety to cause excessive belching. If your anxiety includes hyperventilating then that would be a good source of swallowed air, which then could lead to belching. Some things that may help in belching. Tried to be aware of how much air swallowing. Try to chew food completely before swallowing it so that the stomach will have smaller particles for the bacteria to give off gas with. Excessive exercise can also lead to belching. And sometimes relief can be obtained with anti-acids; H2 blockers and proton pump inhibitors. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
