NO not at all: Swollen nodes in neck would have no connection with your prostatitisd. That is not possible as there is no connection between the prostate gland and the lymph nodes in the neck. Go get a doctor to check your neck and seek his/her advice. ...Read more

Prostatitis: The chronic time course of your symptom description certainly sounds like chronic prostatitis. Burning sensation in right groin/thigh a few minutes after ejaculation. Sounds like prostatitis. Does herpes cause this or sound like a possible cause?
Many causes: Your pain could represent many things. Your vas deferens transports sperm from your testicles via your groin. You may have a hernia if there is a bulge present. Prostatitis is usually accompanied by fever, pelvic/rectal pain or pain when you urinate. A burning sensation on your thigh is usually a result of a nerve problem. My hands are swollen also heel hurts, prostatitis, high liver enzymes what's up could it be related?
No: Never heard of those factors being the cause of prostatitis. In most case, there is some sort of infection that triggers the process. Stress may contribute to some urinary problems such as urgency, discomfort/pain but would not be the cause of prostatitis. ...Read more

Gp gave me 100mg doxycycline for a flare up of chronic prostatitus sure the dosage is not right? I have developed pain In right groin what could it be
Dosage Correct: Prescribing Doxycycline, recommended dose is 100mg twice a day. However, I would have used Bactrim DS for prostatitis personally (a sulfa drug). Also recommended drug treatment is Cipro (ciprofloxacin) or Levaquin which I try to avoid due to the serious potential side effects of the drug. Referred pain to the groin is not uncommon if the prostatitis is bad enough. Hope this helps. RJ ...Read more

Several swollen n painful nodes in groin. Why do they spasm, make gurgling sounds, and feel like they are about to explode? Or is this something else?
Painful groin nodes: Most probably something else as nodes are silent. In the groin area, one can develop an inguinal hernia, which can allow a part of your intestines to drop through a passage way into the testicle area of your groin. If this occurs it can cause the problems you have outlined. See your doctor for an examination, because if it is an inguinal hernia, it does not go away by itself-surgery indicated. ...Read more
