See a dermatologist: They may be related. A dermatologist can biopsy the nevus. That may provide the answer.
Toppled in chair, fell from a height of about 4 feet and hit his head on floor. 36 hrs later, has a fever, is very tired, and has swollen glands.
Not related?: The fever and swollen glands are most likely not related to the head injury but I would have the little guy checked to be sure. When he fell was he knocked out or dazed? Or did he scream immediately? Usually if they cry right away that is a good sign. Either way, see a doctor.See 1 more doctor answer

There are many things which can cause your symptoms but as a hematologist I would want to make sure you do not have something like a lymphoma (given your age possibly hodgkins lymphoma). Your physician can do a physical examination, take an appropriate history and order relevant tests and referrals to determine what is happening.

Muscle spasm: Sounds like your neck muscles that extend up into your scalp are irritated. This may have been triggered when the lymph nodes rapidly enlarged. Why is another question - they respond to perceived threats to your body like infection. Moist heat, mild stretching and some ibuprofen might help. Massages good too. If continues or worsens see your MD. Http://www. Webmd. Com/pain-management/guide/neck-shoulder

Sinus infection?: Pain behind your eyes is typical for a sinus infection. The nausea, sweats, chills and body aches could be signs of a bacterial or viral infection, including the flu or mono. The flu shot protects 50-70% of healthy adults, so you can still get the flu, which is a virus. If it's a bacterial infection of your sinuses, Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) likely isn't enough. Either way, you're very ill, so please call your doc!
