May be strep throat: Fever, sore throat, and swollen neck nodes (glands) may be strep throat. A quick throat swab test can tell in 5 minutes, if strep germs are there. If strep, then antibiotics are needed. Some viral infections can also have these symptoms, but viral infections are not treated with antibiotics. ...Read more

You should be OK: Not sure what you mean by nu, however that all sounds normal. Mono can take a while to resolve and i okay with a slow recovery, as long as you are getting better. ...Read more

Why are you asking?: Respectfully, ma'am, I am concerned about your child's health care and whether there may be a miscommunication. "Chronic anemia" isn't a proper diagnosis; a cause needs to be identified and addressed without delay. "Weak and thin bones" isn't a medical term -- you have a right to the real radiology report -- osteoporosis and/or rickets in a child are grave pathology. Insist on a full account. ...Read more
