Yes: Stop the phenylbutazone as this can cause an aplastic anemia. Make sure your thyroid function tests are normal as well. That said, you can treat the dry eyes with meds suck as Salagen or Evoxac (cevimeline) and see if they help. It is not clear as to the injury but the wrist can be the starting point and the swelling can occur from limited use. Need to be evaluated for the entire arm and see if xrays are necessary and best treatment.
