Insect bite: Is what it sounds like. A small area like a toddlers toe will swell impressive. My favorite treatment for insect/ spider bites is a raw onion... Slice it and rub on the affected bite area tl the juice is dry (a couple minutes). It neutralizes the toxin and reduces swelling.

Try some cool: Soaks. And consider that It may be infected! This could be serious in that location. I would seek medical help at walk-in unit or ER.
