Anatomic fact: Male urethra is much longer than the female. Female urethra extends from bladder neck, located behind pubic boe, straight down ending between labia minora, a matter of about 4.5 cm. Male urethra extends down toward back of scrotum, where it is little more than skin deep ; then angles forward across base of scrotum before running entire length of penis.
