Swollen Bump In Mouth
Palatal bumps?: It could be a host of possibilities. Without seeing it in person, it's hard to say and only a guess. Irritation from food and inflammation from smoking would be my first two guesses. Have your own dentist take a look at it and try to establish the exact cause in your case. ...Read more

Need more info: It depends on how long has it been there that you know off? If it is increasing in size and has been there for more than 2-3 weeks, then you need to go see a doctor to get it checked out. It is quite common to have canker sores in the mouth but they heal within 10-15 days with or without treatment. Anything that does not heal in 3-4 weeks is suspect for cancer. ...Read more

See Dentist ASAP: See your Dentist as soon as you can for examination, diagnosis and treatment. The swollen node could be from many things, not necessarily related to the mouth conditions. Gum tissue coloration varies and may be something more noticeable due to the recession or a calculus buildup. Palatal bumps could be from a number of things, as well. See the Dentist and get this resolved so you can not worry. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Why do I get a rash on my lips now and again? Red little bumps itchy and swollen. Corners of mouth as well.
Seems like cold sore: Your description sounds like that of a cold sore, which appears as groupings of little fluid-filled vesicles about the corners of the mouth, not both simultaneously but successive bouts can alternate from side to side. Perhaps an allergy: What you are describing may be an allergic reaction--either to a medicine or cosmetic that you are putting on your face, exposure to something like poison I've (where you touch your face after brushing against it) or a reaction to a food or medicine. A & D ointment won't hurt, but it's not anti-allergy. Anti-allergy medicines and creams are available over the counter. If it persists see a doctor. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

Stop taking meth: Continue to use meth, and you will very likely die of it -- but first, you'll bring misery to yourself and to everyone who loves you. I suspect you already realize this, and that your courage in writing reflects a changed attitude and a commitment to recover after this terrible mistake. A support group and/or professional help may save your life. Try hydrogen peroxide as a mouthwash for now. ...Read more
