Sinus pain: Yes...it can be referred pain. Is the pain worse if you move your head quickly from side to side, jump up and down, or rotate your head? If so then it's likely sinus related....are you congested at all? Yes: The glands will always be there but will usually peak in size within a week of the infection and slowly decrease in size over a 3-4 wks. If another process stimulates them they may not shrink completely. I rarely have to do anything with glands in these locations. ...Read more

See ear specialist: You did not mention how your ear started to hurt. Do you have swimmer's ear, or cold symptoms and ear pain from the inside? Soldering optic is to relieve pain and inflammation by contact. It sounds like it has not been helpful.
