If your knees are screaming at you during the exercise or if you have prolonged (greater than an hour) soreness after exercise, you are doing too much. Limit activities: Without knowing what your shoulder injury is, it is probably safe to say of all activities listed aerobic walking should be fine until diagnosis is made. Roller derby is an intense contact sport and could definitely aggravate your shoulder if it is injured.
