Not likely: Most people referring to "swollen glands" are talking about enlarged lymph nodes just under the jaw, that typically enlarge due to upper respiratory or mouth infections. They have nothing to do with your thyroid, and changes in thyroid levels should not effect these glands. ...Read more

Swelling: Can't see your other question...system doesn't work that way. As a general rule, any pain, swelling, or bleeding should be immediately investigated. Could be lymph nodes swollen from trying to filter an infection, or partially blocked salivary gland, or draining abscess, or so many other things.
