Get it checked!!!: Get examined because several there are conditions such as a baker's cyst that can present themselves in the back of the knee and pinch a nerve to cause tingling in the toes. Can be meniscus: Could of have problem with meniscus, stay off your feet, apply ice, take otc ibuprofen, if pain not better in a few days go get an x-ray, might need physical therapy and MRI eventually. ...Read more

Infected?: If it is red and hot it may be infected. If you think that is possible then see a doctor as soon as you can. Infections can become more serious if left untreated. If it is not red and hot try some cool compresses and hydrocortisone cream to try do decrease the itching until it resolves. ...Read more

Varies: If you can bear weight on it, you may have just "sprained" it and should get better quickly. If either it is painful to put weight on it, or if if does not get better I would be seen. Somewhat concerning for sustaining a tear in the posterior horn if the medial meniscus which is fairly common and sometimes requires arthroscopic surgery. ...Read more
