See your dentist: Who can determine whether or not your wisdom tooth is coming in straight and if there will be enough room for it. Better to know early and plan for an extraction, if necessary, rather than wait until you have severe pain and swelling. On the other hand that might not be necessary. Possibly sounds: Like pericoronitis. Recommend seeing a dentist or oral surgeon as soon as possible. In the interim 3-4 advils every 6-8 hours, peroxide-water warm rinse 4x/day. Topical anesthetic (orajel) type might also help. Feel better. All the best. ...Read more

Wisdom teeth: Unfortunately we can't determine over the internet without clinically examining you and seeing and x-ray of the erupting tooth whether or not the tooth is in fact coming in straight with sufficient room for it to erupt into a normal position and with the absence of future problems.
