Possibly sounds: Like pericoronitis. Recommend seeing a dentist or oral surgeon as soon as possible. In the interim 3-4 advils every 6-8 hours, peroxide-water warm rinse 4x/day. Topical anesthetic (orajel) type might also help. Feel better. All the best. ...Read more

Wisdom teeth: Unfortunately we can't determine over the internet without clinically examining you and seeing and x-ray of the erupting tooth whether or not the tooth is in fact coming in straight with sufficient room for it to erupt into a normal position and with the absence of future problems. I just had my lower wisdom tooth extracted last night, it took 30 minutes for my dentist to remove.Now my gums is swelling what will i do?

Dry socket : Time is a healer , you have to follow your doctor post op instructions , hope you have one , take your anti biotic and the Motrin 600-800 mg if you are not already on it, rinses start with warm salt water three to four times daily , avoid chewing on that side , the possibilities of dry socket is high .
