Get examined by md: Sesamoid injuries to the big toe are relatively uncommon. Fractures to the sesamoid bones are most commonly seen in ( American) football. It sounds like there was no injury that you recall, which makes it very unusual to have the swelling or the tear in the blood vessel. More information: Would need more information. Was there an injury? If so then you may have dramas ged bone or soft tissue structures in the finger. If its getting bigger or causing pain, etc. Then need for investigating it further with xrays, mri/ct scans, blood work.
