Swelling In Right Ankle Only
I have minor swelling in one calf mainly in the area right slightly below the knee. No apparent swelling in ankles or feet. No pain or redness.
Swelling Causes: Swelling behind the knee could be a strain or ligament injury. It could be phlebitis. It could also be a cyst called a Baker's cyst. The best course would be to see your family doctor, orthopedist or podiatrist for evaluation. A physical exam and possibly X-rays or an MRI can answer your questions. ...Read more

Ankle Inflammation: What did you do? Sounds like a common sprain, and i know some people forgot a minor twist until 2 days later when the symptoms develop. Do rice--rest (avoid irritating it), ice pack 3 times daily for 10 minutes, compression 24/7, and as much elevation as you can. If it gets worse over the next several days, definitely get it checked out. Dr rich blake. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Mild pain in the right leg, more localized behind the knee, sometimes in the hip and ankle. not intense, no swelling or redness. started 3days ago.
Leg pain: Pain or dull ache involving the entire leg is suggestive of nerve impingement from a bulging disc or spur from a vertebra in the lower spine pressing on a nerve root. A knee injury or phlebitis would be more localized to the knee or calf. If discomfort persists consult a physician or a neurologist for diagnosis and treatment advice. An mri of the spine may be recommended. ...Read more

I have hemihypertrophy on my right leg. One lump on knee two on right side of leg. Searing pain in calf plus pitting edema in ankle. Is this urgent?
Could be serious.: Hemihypertrophy can mean a difference in length of the leg as well as girth of the leg.
