I have minor swelling in one calf mainly in the area right slightly below the knee. No apparent swelling in ankles or feet. No pain or redness.

Swelling Causes: Swelling behind the knee could be a strain or ligament injury. It could be phlebitis. It could also be a cyst called a Baker's cyst. Not debatable...: Whether or not you presently have these symptoms are had them in the past, an obvious concern is a possible blood clot. This dangerous condition can happen without a clear history of trauma, prolonged inactivity or for that matter, without any apparent reason at all.
