Is it safe to have anal sex with internal hemorrhoids? There is only slight bleeding during bowel movements so is it safe or no?

Not recommended: You should be symptom free (no pain or bleeding) ideally before anal sex. If you have internal hemorrhoids, I would recommend against anal intercourse as this can exacerbate the issue. If they are in fact internal hemorrhoids, you can consult a surgeon for banding to resolve the issue. Meanwhile, to reduce flares, also avoid straining and keep stools soft. ...Read more

I have anal bleeding during/at The end of a bowel movement and the stools are soft. I do have some hemorrhoids but they do not seem sore. Concerned?

Had bleeding during bowel movements. How can I tell if it is hemorrhoids or anal fissure? Are there home treatments? Or do they go away on their own?

Had bleeding during bowel movements. How can I tell if it is hemorrhoids or anal fissure? Are there home treatments? Or do they go away on their own?

You may be able to: Tell by looking with a mirror if you know what you're looking for. To know for sure, please see your doctor. If there's a fissure there, you may be able to heal it with a healing ointment such as Aquaphor and making sure your bowel movements aren't hard.
