Possible spider bite? Blister on arm, area is red around the blister, arm is sore, mild discomfort. Maybe hobo spider? Go 2 ER now to reduce damage?
Probably not: There are hobo spiders in WA. If they ever bite at all, the result is much less severe than brown recluse. Expert opinion differs as to the existence of any bites by hobos. They are very reluctant to attack. Unless you saw and felt a bite, then took the creature for expert identification, assume it is something else. Best bet is a dermatologist. ...Read more
No: The color of the bee does not determine the color of the sting area. A black dot could be: a bit of blood escaped from capillary beds due to trauma and venom; a retained stinger; or, it could be a small area of tissue necrosis (cell death). With bees, it's likely one of the first two scenarios. Brown recluse spiders are more likely to cause the latter, though it's relatively uncommon even then. ...Read more

Can brown recluse spider venom cause avascular necrosis of the hip the bite was 5 inches above the knee the hip pain began 1 month after spider bite ?
Not likely!: There are no associated reports of this linkage. Both are not uncommon and coincidently may occur together.
