Is it normal that I am not sweating during exercise?

Is it normal that I am not sweating during exercise?

Depends: If you are exercising vigorously in your arid location it would be wise to over hydrate when possible. Monitor for thirst sensation and honor it immediately. Monitor your sweat production after these adjustments.
Review your medication inserts for any mention of "drying effects". If so consult the prescribing physician for re-evaluation. ...Read more

Do slimming gels that heat up as you move or exercise to cause excess sweating in fatty areas make you lose weight or do you simply just sweat more?

Hello, Should I exercise if I'm normal weight and eat healthy? I hate sweating so much that I want to avoid exercise. I do walk a lot during the day.

Yes: Don't think of it as exercise and don't sweat a little perspiration :)!! As children, we used to run, skip, hop and jump for no particular reason at all. As adults, we need to continue as much as reasonable to run, skip, hop and jump for no particular reason at all!! Sweating a lot from upper back and face and forehead from exercise and from nervousness when other people sweat only a bit during exercise

Sweating a lot from upper back and face and forehead from exercise and from nervousness when other people sweat only a bit during exercise

See PCP first.: You're not "other people" so don't worry too much. Sounds like you are a bit shy and nervous and sweating is symptom of social anxiety. Gradual exposure to people over time will hopefully help you but if the anxiety is too troublesome, you may need to consult a psychiatrist and also a psychotherapist. See pcp for appropriate referral. ...Read more

Is sweating necessary for losing weight while doing exercise? I do all seat up, spot running, stretching. But my belly doesn't sweat.

Is sweating necessary for losing weight while doing exercise? I do all seat up, spot running, stretching. But my belly doesn't sweat.

Not that way: Losing weight is a measure of calories in vs calories out. As long as you burn more than you put in you should lose weight. When burning fat it is burned from everywhere so there are no specific exercises to burn fat from a specific area but you can tone and strengthen specific areas. ...Read more

I have an itchy scalp and two small bumps at the bottom of my head on either side. Could this be allergy related since it is fall? I have been sweating a lot as well due to increase in exercise. Skin on body itches as well.

Sounds more: Like an infected scalp and the "lumps" may be enlarged lymph glands which drain the scalp!
A "hands on" exam is indicated and an anti-dandruff
shampoo with a course of oral antibiotics may be indicated!

Hope this helps

Experiencing rapid heart rate (worsened by: psychological stress). HR around 115 when I wake up. Excessive sweating while exercise. Reason?

Get seen: The heart rate itself isn't a danger. How much you sweat is personal. You may get a Holtor monitor, labs to screen for a pheochromocytoma, and a good EKG. I'm simply glad that you're exercising. Keep that up. You may well be fine. Best wishes. ...Read more

Irritable pink/redness round the eyes (mostly eyelids). Worse after exercise/sweating. Also after alcohol they get much worse. Causes dry/dead skin?

You need to see a dermatologist. Until then stop all makeup, nailpolish, perfume. An otc jydrocortisone ointment 1% may help till then. ...Read more
