AML: Sorry to hear about the aml. High wbcs are not that uncommon with AML m4. Survival rates depend on genetics of the leukemia. These tests were sent with the initial bone marrow (usually) and take a week or so to come back. Another important test is the bone marrow after the first cycle of chemo.
