I had hammertoe surgery 3 month, s ago and there's excessive swelling! what else can I do or take other than ice and elevation?
SWELLING.: Your PA may be contributory. Also, talk to your surgeon about the complication of a "sausage toe", which is usually a prolonged swollen and sometimes red toe. Seek attention: The ESR being high is normal after surgery to a certain degree. Your grandmother needs to see her doctor to determine if she is having effects from a low hb, what her normal is, and to evaluate to see if a transfusion is needed.
