Not ideal treatment: All gonorrhea should be treated with two drugs, even if no chlamydia is present. Cefixime 400 mg usually would work by itself, but not reliably. Return to your doctor or clinic for additional treatment; or, if more than 2-3 weeks have gone by, at least be retested to know you were cured. All at once: Dr. Gallant is correct, ceftriaxone is recommended. However, cefixime (Suprax) probably will work. Take all 400 mg at once. It is entirely safe, virtually no side effects ever. You also should have been given a second antibiotic, either a single dose of azithromycin or 7 days of doxycycline. If any doubts or questions, check with the doctor or clinic treating you.
