Sternal notch tight: May be costochondritis, Inflammation of the joint joining the clavical to the manubrium. Does it hurt when you press on the bone? AORTIC ANEURYSM: If it is not properly visualized with a 2D Echo. Then a trans esophageal echo or TEE is indicated another option would be a MRA of the thoracic region. Discuss with your cardiologist.
