Sure not helping: Hi. Soda pop is poison. If you are able to stop, I would wholeheartedly encourage you to. But obesity is far more complex than just drinking soda. Eat a HEALTHY diet with appropriate caloric intake, exercise regularly, and don't smoke. The American lifestyle is generally very unhealthy. It's up to you to choose to live healthily. You're fine!: 127 pounds is an ok weight for you! if you were an adult, we might say ideal weight for a 5'5" male would be closer to 135 to 140 pounds, but you are in a state of growth/transition. I don't really know what you mean by "skinny fat" though. Just keep focusing on lots of fruits and veggies, some protein (meat, fish, poultry, cheese, eggs) and complex carbs, not sweets. ...Read more

There is more: You should definitely consider seeing a GI doctor to help you get a normal bowel regimen. Make sure you get enough fluids. You being overweight may indicate that the foods that you eat may contribute to the constipation but that is certainly not the simplistic answer. ...Read more
