I was prescribed im vitamin b complex. I wasn't told how to use it, but on the bottle it says 1ml-2ml daily. When i inject it it burns like hellfire. I don't think i can endure such burning every day.
Please stop : I cannot imagine that a doctor gave you an injectable medication that you were supposed to give yourself without giving you specific instructions on how to do it. Only if deficient: If you have a healthy diet you will get sufficent b vitamins, and a shot isn't needed / doesn't really do anything. B6 deficiency can be caused by a very limited diet (happens in alcoholism) and B12 deficiency can occur with strict vegan diets, or in the condition pernicious anemia. It depends...: Work for what? If someone has B12 deficiency then B12 shots definitely "work" to treat the deficiency and resultant anemia/neurological symptoms. However, many who are not deficient get B12 shots for fatigue and other non-specific symptoms.
