Rash on hands feet and legs after a sun with planeflight. Ankles double in size. No burn. Also have constant low C3 c4.Sun poison or flare?

Hard to say: If low complements levels will cause skin problems then the problems would be swelling, not rashes. Ankle swelling points to complement associated issues. If you are reacting to a sunblock that would explain the rash on your extremities and low C3 and C4 levels may explain the swelling. 39 year olds should not get ankle swelling unless they have heart problems. Get checked by your doctor. ...Read more

Should I use a different detergent if my baby keeps getting rashes on her leg?

Usually won't matter: Recurrent rashes on the arms and legs of babies are often eczema, which appears as reddened, rough, dry skin areas. On severe eczema areas, the skin will get tiny cracks that ooze moisture. Changing the laundry detergent usually doesn't make a difference in the rash, but parents can try using no detergent for 2-3 weeks and see if the rash resolves (just wash the laundry with hot or warm water). ...Read more

Obviously avoiding the causing agent (or bug in this case) is the permanent solution. Using some kind of flea repellent, treating rugs, clothes and having pets flea free are all components of making this happen. ...Read more
