You shouldn't: It would help to know why you are on Levaquin (levofloxacin) and predisone, but i will guess it is a pulmonary infection. Alcohol in amounts more than social drinking (1-2 drinks/day) impairs the cough reflex, increases chances of aspiration, damages our immune system and increases side effects of prednisone, especially stomach irritation/bleeding. No and I suspect: that the fact you are asking this of a stranger online, rather than the doctor(s) who are prescribing these medications for you means that you KNOW that the answer is no. Alcohol can increase depression and anxiety in many people, as can marijuana. I will wager that your doctors don't know about your drinking or weed use.
