Sudden Sharp Pain In Inner Thigh
Woke w/sharp pain in inner thigh in one leg, cramp in calf of other. Walked around a bit, pain went away-went back to sleep. Woke to thigh pain again.
Cramps: Recurrent muscle cramps or spasms may be caused by deficiencies of calcium or magnesium. Sometimes they are due to excessive muscle tightness caused by various muscle activities during the day. In this case stretching maneuvers of the legs before going to bed may prevent the nocturnal spasms. You could also take a magnesium supplement daily. See your physician as needed.
I have a sharp pain in my inner thigh. It happens a couple times a week. Only for a few seconds at a time. What could this be?
Nerve pain: It appears that there is an intermittent impingement of a nerve or muscle which may be positional and causing sharp, shooting thigh pain. The inpingement could be occurring in the groin and may have to do with obesity or prolonged sitting. A small inguinal hernia would be a less likely cause. If symptoms persist or worsen, consult your physician.
Nerve pain: Sharp, shooting pain involving the back and leg suggests a pinching of a nerve possibly from a disc bulge or a spur in your spine. If it persists, see your md.

I am feeling a sharp pinching feeling inside my left inner thigh also sharp pain left lower back all the way down my leg, what can it be?
Pinched Nerve: Sounds like you have a pinched nerve in your back. I would suggest seeing a pain/spine specialist to evaluate you further to evaluate what level and what can be done to treat you. There are interventional treatments besides medications and surgeries that might reduce or eliminate the pain altogether.See 2 more doctor answers
I have a sharp pain in my left inner thigh it comes and goes and throbs, its been going on for a day or two now, it hurts to walk sometimes.
Need exam: A more detailed history and exam are needed to determine the cause and best treatment for you. A common cause of this symptom is pulled muscle from exertion or local trauma. If not better in a couple of days, talk to your doctor.
Hiking uphill I get pain in my left inner thigh. Downhill is fine. After the hike, lifting my left leg up, I feel sharp pain in my inner thigh. Help!
Hip Pain: Concern would be hip etiology. When you go up hills you go into increased flexion at the femoral acetabular joint (hip joint). Many things can cause this including cartilage issues or osteoarthritis, labral changes, or femoral acetabular impingement. A clinical exam and simple x-ray may provide quite a bit of information.See 1 more doctor answer
I was walking and got a sudden sharp pain in a line down the inner middle part of my thigh. Some times I can barely walk on it. What can I do to treat?
Get checked out: I would start with an xray of the hip joint (and also maybe lower along the femur) to make sure something pathological isn't going on with the thigh bone.
I have a very sharp pain in my inner right thigh. How severe can this be and at what point do I go to the hospital?
EXTREMITY PAIN: Dear morine, I strongly suggest you see your primary care physician for an examination of the right leg. Seeking unecessary hospital emergency evaluation is not appropriate if your condition is truly not an emergency condition. This could be a myriad of problems; among which may just be pain from the medial right thigh musculature.
Sharp pain in left inner thigh. No redness or swelling pain mostly while sitting occasionally when walking what could this be?
Pulled muscle: Sounds to me like you have a pulled groin muscle. This should heal on its own. You can search on line for stretches to perform. You may need a short course of anti-inflammatories. Good luck! See your doctor if no better in 2-3 weeks.

? injury: If there is no history of an injury, then inflammation of a nerve or muscle is possible. Is the discomfort worsened by movement or is the muscle tender to touch? See your Physician if symptoms persist. In the meantime try NSAIDS like ibuprofen if you can take them.See 1 more doctor answer
Sharp pain on right inner thigh along bikini line when squatting, crossing legs, getting up. Sometimes hard to walk after. Lasts a couple days to week?
Muscle pain: pain in the groin or as you say along the bikini line can have many causes some of which can be serious. The most common cause is a strained or torn tendon, ligament or muscle. These types of injuries usually improve with time but if this persists or worsens you should see an orthopedic doctor. Inflammation of the lymph nodes in the groin can also cause pain and usually they are swollen.
Hi, I'm having pain when I move my leg outward and inward and sometimes climbing up stairs. The pain seems to be deep inside where my inner thigh/hip meets, and feels like a sharp pain with those movements. No swelling noticed, but I am overweight.

DVT: Not likely but show to your Dr. Are you on BCP this increases risk.
Pulled groin? Week ago had severe night cramp inner thigh tonight during intercourse developed a sharp pain in groin can't walk no pain if not moving
Pulled groin: If indeed having pulled groin, avoid activities that aggravate the pain. If intercourse is discomforting, avoid it. Local heat or ice applications may be helpful. Ibuprofen 200 mg, 3-4 pills at a time up to 3 times/day may be helpful. If you have any problems with urination, then see your doc.

I have been having a small sharp pain on the inner side of my left calf. I also get some aching behind my leg at times too. This has been about a week?
Calf pain: If you have abnormal swelling, Left side bigger than the right, and pain it is possible you may have a DVT (deep venous thrombosis). I would go to your PCP and obtain a venous ultrasound to evaluate for a venous blood clot. If this is the case you will need to be on blood thinners for about 3 months. Get checked now.
