Tinnitus 2B checked: Whenever you have TINNITUS (ear ringing) and it's not obvious to you or your general doc what the cause is or that it's persistent beyond 1-2 days (ear/sinus infection, etc) then, I think you need a audiological examination, possibly ENT, & possibly neurology since causes are going to either in the ear or brain.
